Airbourne are just one of these bands that go out on the circuit to have fun and cause mayhem. Their first album ‘Runnin’ Wild’ was from start to finish one of the best rock albums I have heard in a long time. But then in 2010 the world was hit with another party anthem, fun loving album by Airbourne. Entitled ‘No Guts, No Glory’ its 13 amazing songs and best with a couple of pints of beer at which point anything can happen.
For all out there who say: “Airbourne, they just copy AC/DC”. The only thing I have to say is hell to you. ‘No Guts, No Glory’ is no ‘Back in Black’ or ‘Highway to Hell’.
Because the album is tipping the metal barrier its just pure rock n roll like AC/DC. From the first track ‘Borne to kill’ to the ending of track 13 ‘Back on the bottle’, the band have already hooked the listener with all the tasty riffs, smashing solo’s and sing along chorus’s found on the album. So if you’re thinking of at least listening to this CD play it heavy and play it loud!
No Guts, No Glory doesn’t contain one rotten egg song among its tracks. It’s all pure awesome party songs, which gets the listener singing along and playing air guitar to all of its tracks. The album is available in both one CD and two CD special edition format. But in my eyes you’re not missing anything if you only get the one CD edition, because that is where the party is truly at. With Airbourne just coming off the back of their UK tour, one thing for sure is that if they played this album it will have been awesome. ‘No Guts, No Glory’ is 45 minutes of your life that you cant possibly live without.
